Caryopteris x clandonensis will reach around .7m – 1m depending on conditions, also known as ‘bluebeard’ and the ‘blue mist shrub ‘ with masses of lovely deep blue flowers in autumn.

Caryopteris are a drought tolerant low growing mound forming plant attractive to birds and butterfly’s. Caryopteris are also known as ‘Blue spirea’ or ‘Blue mist’.

Care

Requires very little care other than cutting right back in late autumn or early spring.

A plant that is hardy in dry conditions they are low growing and best suited to USDA Zones 5-9
