‘Canada Lily’ or ‘Meadow Lily’

A tall growing Lilium reaching up to 4ft the Canada Lily or the Meadow Lily is found wide from the eastern North America through to the central states

Lilium canadense grows well in full or partial sun in a moist well drained soil. Lilium canadense flavum is a yellow flowering variety.

Regarded as hardy once established and with either gold or red flowers with purple spots in throat of the flower.

Lilium canadense var. flavum (pictured right) is a lemon yellow flowering form that has been widely cultivated for hundreds of years.

Lilium canadense grows well from zones 4 to 9 Bulbs may take 1 season to acclimatise before flowering
